This significant exhibition introduces North American audiences to the diverse and distinct visual iconographies of Indigenous Australia, which is made up of more than 250 distinct Indigenous nations. Explore this rich and living history of creativity through over 200 works made by more than 130 artists. Drawn exclusively from the collection of Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria, The Stars We Do Not See offers a rare opportunity to experience important watershed moments of modern and contemporary Australian Indigenous art.
Join us for an evening of learning and conversation with special guests Dr. Jessica Clark (Trawlwoolway), Senior Curator, First Nations Art at the National Gallery of Victoria; and Tasmanian documentary photographer and activist Ricky Maynard (Pakana).
Portland Art Museum celebrates the Deaf Community with Art in ASL on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Deaf Community members and their companions enjoy complimentary admission.
Join Look with Me sessions which take place every half hour between 12-3. These 20 minute sessions invite you to slow down, look closely, and be in conversation with each other. Some sessions are led in ASL by Deaf guides and some in English by hearing guides. All sessions have ASL/English interpretation.

The museum galleries are wheelchair, mobility device, and stroller accessible. Complimentary stools, folding chairs, manual wheelchairs, and assistive technology are available upon request. Art in ASL is presented in partnership with the Deaf Look Club, a program of Bridge City Montessori.

This is for a One Hour visit. Due to the limitation of the system, it defaults to half hour.
College groups receive discounted admission of $10.00 per student with advance registration.
If your course requires multiple visits to the museum, a Course Access Pass is available for $35 per student and the student will receive free admission to the Museum for the term of the class.
You must complete the K-12 and College Group Reservation Form to finalize and secure your reservation. The form is emailed to you after completing the ticket transaction.
