Portland Art Museum celebrates the Deaf Community with Art in ASL on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Join slow looking Look with Me sessions every half hour between 12-3. Some are led in American Sign Language, some are led in English, all have interpretation.
Look with Me sessions are designed to help visitors slow down, look at art, share perspectives, and connect with others through conversation. Look for signs in the galleries to indicate where the sessions will be held.
PAM is honored to partner with the Deaf Look Club at Bridge City Montessori. Sessions in ASL are led by Deaf Community Educator and PAM volunteer guide, Chris Balduc.
Visitors of all ages are welcome. Tickets can be used at any time during the day.
The galleries are mobility device and stroller accessible. Complimentary folding stools and chairs, and manual wheelchairs are available upon request.
Please contact us for any other access requests. Email: access@pam.org or leave a videophone message at 503-420-3169.
Lecture ticket includes admission to the Museum for that day.
