Portland Book Festival + Tom Hanks event + Abbi Jacobson event  No longer Available

UPDATE (October 26th): The Tom Hanks and Abbi Jacobson events at the Portland Book Festival are no longer available. The Tom Hanks event is AT CAPACITY; no more passes will be available. On Festival day, November 10, a limited number of passes of Abbi Jacobson will be available at the Festival box office on a strictly first come, first serve basis. Copies of Uncommon Type and I Might Regret This will also be for sale at the Powell's booth at the Festival's book fair (note: there is no public signing).

*Note that due to safety regulations, audiences will need to exit and re-enter the Schnitzer between each event.


These pre-ordered passes include 1 copy each of Uncommon Type and I Might Regret This, and will guarantee entry to the Portland Book Festival and the events featuring Tom Hanks and Abbi Jacobson. There is no reserved seating; all seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive your books on the festival day, November 10.

Pre-orders for guaranteed entry to the Tom Hanks and Abbi Jacobson closed on Friday, October 26. 

IMPORTANT NOTES: Plan to arrive at least one hour before the first event you would like to attend in order to visit the box office and pick up your wristband. The Festival box office is located on SW Park Avenue in front of the Portland Art Museum. Advance pass purchasers must exchange a paper or e-pass, including free youth passes, for an official wristband and any applicable vouchers or guaranteed entry tickets. Wristbands are required for entry into all events and the Festival book fair. If you do not have a wristband, you will be sent to the Festival box office in the Park Blocks before you are granted entry to any of the Festival venue.
